It’s always interesting to hear the argument of “fair balance”. Using that argument, ID proponents should pressure churches to include evolution science in their sermons. I won’t hold my breath, though.

It’s interesting how conservative (including ID proponents) have always managed to coin phrases like “partial birth abortion”, “family values”, “Patriot Act” and “intelligent design” so that ever those who don’t agree with them start using the same meaningless phrases. Simply by using these phrases, we are helping their causes even if we don’t agree with them.

How about we start using the phrase “the fact of evolution” rather that the “theory of evolution”?

as a[n informed] Texan, I just cannot understand the ridiculousness of this. It seems the IDers are now expelling their opponents so that the TEA “club” is composed only of driveling idiots. Reminds me of grade school children with tongues protruding, “no girls allowed!”

I think you are correct Steve in predicting vast criticism from the online community. Texas won’t get away with this.
